Accessibility – Chipotle Canada

Statement of Commitment

Chipotle Mexican Grill is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by identifying, preventing, and removing barriers to accessibility, and by meeting the accessibility requirements set forth in applicable law, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Accessibility Plan

Chipotle has established a multi-year plan (Accessibility Plan) to outline and reaffirm our commitment to improving accessibility for our visitors, guests, and employees, and our strategy to identify, prevent, and remove barriers to accessibility for persons with disabilities.

Customer Service Standards

As part of its Accessibility Plan, Chipotle has established a policy regarding the provision of goods, services, and/or facilities to persons with disabilities. Chipotle’s Accessibility Plan also includes a policy regarding the use of service animals and assistive devices by persons with disabilities.

In the event of a temporary disruption to the facilities or services typically used by persons with disabilities to benefit from Chipotle’s goods, services, and/or facilities, Chipotle will provide notice of the disruption and its anticipated duration, and describe alternative facilities or services, if any, that are available in the interim. Chipotle’s process for providing notice of temporary disruptions is set forth in its Accessibility Plan.

Any person who interacts with the public or who participates in developing policies, practices, and procedures will receive training on an ongoing basis regarding Chipotle’s commitment to providing goods, services, and/or facilities to persons with disabilities. Chipotle’s Accessibility Plan includes a policy detailing these training requirements.

Chipotle’s Accessibility Plan, including these customer service and training standards, may be viewed here. The plan document is also available in alternative formats upon request. To request an alternative format, please email: adaaccommodations@chipotle.com
